Renewatch (https://renewatch.com) watches domain names you choose and emails you when something about them changes or is about to lapse. These terms describe the service; reading a page is not acceptance of a paid contract. Questions to alerts@renewatch.com.
Operator identification has not yet been provided. Paid subscriptions are not available during launch preparation. This notice does not replace the identification required by law.
Renewatch is a monitoring and alerting aid. It reads public sources — domain registries over RDAP, the DNS, TLS certificates — and tells you what they say. It is not a registrar: it cannot renew or transfer your domains. Monitoring reads public information without changing your domain. The optional Cloudflare repair feature can publish a DNS TXT record only when you explicitly request and authorise that operation. An alert itself does not change anything.
You remain solely responsible for renewing your domains. The data we read comes from third parties who can be wrong, late or unreachable; some registries publish no expiry data at all, and where that is the case we say so on the domain's page and in the confirmation email. Alerts are delivered on a best-effort basis and can be delayed or lost in transit like any email. Checks may produce warnings at 60, 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before expiry, where the registry publishes a usable date. These are repeated opportunities to warn, not a guarantee of detection or delivery: outages, account limits, muted alerts or email failures may prevent warnings. Keep your own renewal reminders and check with your registrar.
Signing in requires proving control of an email address, because that address is where alerts go. You may only watch domains for lawful monitoring purposes. We may suspend an account that abuses the service — bypassing the published API rate limits, monitoring at a volume plainly meant to burden the infrastructure, or use of the service in connection with attacks on the domains watched. Ordinary scripts within the published API limits are allowed. Except where immediate restriction is necessary for security or a legal obligation, we explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue through support.
The free plan and its limits are described on the pricing section. The paid plans (Starter, Pro and Teams) are yearly subscriptions that renew automatically every year, at the price shown when you subscribe, until you cancel. Stripe bills them and we never see or store card details. You can cancel any time from the account page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and your watches keep working on the free plan's terms afterwards.
EU withdrawal right: you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, by writing to notify withdrawal by email with your account email, purchase date and the subscription you want to withdraw from. We offer a full refund for withdrawals from a new subscription notified within that period, to the original payment method within 14 days of the notification. Ordinary cancellation of future renewals in Stripe is a different operation and does not automatically issue a refund. Deleting your account does not waive a withdrawal or other statutory right. An immediate start of service does not, by itself, remove your withdrawal right. Paid checkout remains disabled while operator identification and the contracting workflow are being completed.
Where you connect a Cloudflare account, Renewatch acts only on your explicit click, writes only the specific DNS record shown to you beforehand, and does not retain the access token — it is used for that single operation and a revocation request is made afterwards. Revocation may fail at the provider; you can also revoke access in your Cloudflare account. You are responsible for checking that the proposed record suits your domain and for authorising changes only to zones you control.
Monitoring depends on the availability and accuracy of third-party sources and email delivery. We describe those limitations so you can use the service with appropriate independent renewal checks. They do not remove our legal obligations or your rights when a paid digital service does not conform to the contract. Liability is determined under applicable law; these terms do not impose a blanket cap or exclude mandatory liability, including for intent or gross negligence. Mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live continue to apply.
We may amend these terms; material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect. A notice explains the change, its effective date and your options; we obtain express acceptance when legally required. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights under an existing purchase. You can end the agreement at any moment by deleting your account on the account page, which stops any paid subscription and removes your data as described in the privacy policy. Mandatory rights to a refund, withdrawal or compensation remain available. Portuguese law applies subject to mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction rules that protect consumers in other countries.
The operator has not yet supplied their electronic complaints book registration. The official portal is available; this general link does not establish registration. The applicable alternative dispute resolution entity has not yet been identified. We do not claim membership of an arbitration centre without confirmation. Your right to use the competent courts remains available.
